Welcome to the Porchfest Ithaca band signup system! Here’s what you need to know:

  1. When you sign up your (first) band, you will be asked to create an account at the same time. You will have to do this even if you played last year. We’re starting fresh!
  2. Please make a note of your password – the system does not currently allow for password retrieval. (We will reset your password if needed.)
  3. There are 6 time slots, one hour apiece, from 12-6pm on Sep. 22. You will be asked to select the slots when you are available to play. Please play only during your time slot — don’t start early or go late, out of consideration for other nearby performers.
  4. The first time slot, 12pm-1pm, is acoustic only. No amplification of any kind. Don’t select that time slot unless you are prepared to play a completely acoustic set.
  5. Don’t sign up until you know the address where you will be playing.
  6. In order to have our permit approved this year, we were required to keep Cayuga, Tompkins, Hancock and Lincoln streets free of performances. If you live on one of those streets and don’t have an alternate place to play, make a note of that in the address field and we’ll do our best to help find you a spot.
  7. Before you sign up, collect the email addresses of your bandmates. We use those to identify and work around band conflicts.
  8. After you create an account, you can log back in to add more bands or edit your information.

Note – there is a limit of three performers/bands per address.

On the next page, you will be asked to agree to the Porchfest Pledge before you can go further, a promise to keep your band volume to a reasonable level.
